The Family Place of Transylvania County is committed to a work environment in which all individuals are treated with respect and dignity. The Family Place shall not discriminate on the basis of any protected characteristic, including: race, ethnicity, color, national origin, language, ancestry, religion, sex, familial status, age, gender identity, LGBTQ+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer/ questioning, etc) status, marital status, domestic or sexual violence victim status, or sensory, mental, or physical disability. Each person has the right to work and live in a professional atmosphere that promotes equal employment opportunities and prohibits discriminatory practices, including sexual harassment.
