About the Event
Step into a storybook this December at Deerwoode Reserve, where cozy cabins glow with thousands of twinkling lights along the river.
Take a festive stroll past cabins decorated by local businesses and community groups. Make holiday crafts in the Family Village, warm up with hot chocolate and cider, roast s’mores by the fire, and enjoy live music. Then head to the Lodge for a visit and photos with Santa.
It’s the annual Festival of Lights, and every ticket does double duty: all proceeds benefit The Family Place of Transylvania County, supporting parenting programs, early childhood support, and crisis help for families right here at home.
5–8:30 p.m. nightly · $8 per person · kids 5 & under free · tickets at the door · free parking
Food trucks on site each night.
