Position Description: Rosman Site Coordinator

Who We Are:

The Family Place strengthens families and helps build resiliency through support, education, and community building. Through positive parenting education and adult/child interaction opportunities, we provide resources to help families grow and strengthen relationships, encourage nurturing and emotional support within the home, and assists the development of social and emotional health.

Rosman Site Coordinator:

This position supports families by coordinating and overseeing The Family Place programs, facilitating evidence-based programs, sharing child development information, and referring families to other community resources.  The Rosman Site Coordinator is trained to facilitate Circle of Parents groups and/or Incredible Years programs, and to collect data connected with the evaluation of these programs.  The Rosman Site Coordinator is under the supervision of the Program Director and works with the Rosman Children’s Program Facilitator in a team approach. Position is currently 20 hours per week with the possibility of increasing to 32 hours per week.

Responsibilities of the Position:

  • Coordinate and facilitate evidence based programs for the Rosman center
  • Work collaboratively with Program Director and Children’s Program Facilitator
  • Provide timely and accurate program data, records, and reports
  • Maintain records and evaluation data, including intake/outtake testing
  • Collaborate as needed with human services agencies and other community partners to provide services for families and children 
  • Promote comprehensive community outreach and encourage family participation 
  • Work to develop and adhere to schedules and budgets
  • Assist with duties necessary to support Family Place programs (maintenance and cleaning of facility, transportation, and childcare)


  • Ability to relate to a wide variety of people and engage families in a respectful, genuine manner that fosters unity 
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents and children while continuing to reach out and build trust through growing connections to new families in the Rosman area
  • Maintain cultural awareness and sensitivity to family issues while advocating for Rosman families
  • Knowledge of and ability to access community resources to advocate for children and families
  • Strong oral and written communication skills to relay information effectively to staff, clients, volunteers, and community partners
  • Detail oriented collection and evaluation of data and accurate maintenance of records
  • Resourcefully manage funding in a fiscally responsible way
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Capacity to think innovatively with a growth mindset
  • Work independently as well as with a team
  • Current certification in Infant/Child CPR
  • Current certifications or ability to attend training for facilitator training in Circle of Parents
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Computer competencies including database software, Microsoft, and social media platforms
